Surat Al-Anbiya’ Verse No. 2: Reading and listening
Translation of the verse 2 from Surah Al-Anbiya’ : Number of verses 112 - - page 322 - Part 17.
﴾مَا يَأۡتِيهِم مِّن ذِكۡرٖ مِّن رَّبِّهِم مُّحۡدَثٍ إِلَّا ٱسۡتَمَعُوهُ وَهُمۡ يَلۡعَبُونَ ﴿
[ الأنبياء: 2]
Comes not unto them an admonition (a chapter of the Quran) from their Lord as a recent revelation but they listen to it while they play,

No mention comes to them anew from their Lord except that they listen to it while they are at play

(21:2) They give a mere formal hearing to every new Revelation *3 that comes to them from their Lord and remain engaged in the game (of life) for their hearts are preoccupied (with other matters.) *4
