Surat Al-Baqarah Verse No. 207: Reading and listening
Translation of the verse 207 from Surah Al-Baqarah : Number of verses 286 - - page 32 - Part 2.

﴾وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشۡرِي نَفۡسَهُ ٱبۡتِغَآءَ مَرۡضَاتِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَٱللَّهُ رَءُوفُۢ بِٱلۡعِبَادِ ﴿
[ البقرة: 207]
And of mankind is he who would sell himself, seeking the Pleasure of Allah. And Allah is full of Kindness to (His) slaves.

And of the people is he who sells himself, seeking means to the approval of Allah. And Allah is kind to [His] servants.

(2:207) On the other side, there is another type of man who devotes his whole life to please Allah, and Allah is gracious to such of His servants.
