Surat Nuh Verse No. 21: Reading and listening
Translation of the verse 21 from Surah Nuh : Number of verses 28 - - page 571 - Part 29.
﴾قَالَ نُوحٞ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمۡ عَصَوۡنِي وَٱتَّبَعُواْ مَن لَّمۡ يَزِدۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَوَلَدُهُۥٓ إِلَّا خَسَارٗا ﴿
[ نوح: 21]
Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! They have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children give him no increase but only loss.
English - Sahih International
Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss.
Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(71:21) Noah said: 'My Lord, they did not pay heed to what I said, and followed those (nobles) whose possession of wealth and children has led them to an even greater loss.
