Surat Al-Mu’minun Verse No. 28: Reading and listening

Translation of the verse 28 from Surah Al-Mu’minun : Number of verses 118 - - page 344 - Part 18.

﴾فَإِذَا ٱسۡتَوَيۡتَ أَنتَ وَمَن مَّعَكَ عَلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ فَقُلِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي نَجَّىٰنَا مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴿
[ المؤمنون: 28]

And when you have embarked on the ship, you and whoever is with you, then say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has saved us from the people who are Zalimun (i.e. oppressors, wrong-doers, polytheists, those who join others in worship with Allah, etc.).

English - Sahih International

And when you have boarded the ship, you and those with you, then say, 'Praise to Allah who has saved us from the wrongdoing people.'

(23:28) Then, when you have boarded the ark along with your companions, say, "Praise be to Allah Who has delivered us from the wicked people", *30

*30) The fact that Allah should be praised and thanked for the annihilation of those people, is a clear proof that they were the most wicked and villainous people in the world.
