Surat At-Taubah Verse No. 32: Reading and listening
Translation of the verse 32 from Surah At-Taubah : Number of verses 129 - - page 192 - Part 10.
﴾يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطۡفِـُٔواْ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَيَأۡبَى ٱللَّهُ إِلَّآ أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُۥ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ ﴿
[ التوبة: 32]
They (the disbelievers, the Jews and the Christians) want to extinguish Allah's Light (with which Muhammad SAW has been sent - Islamic Monotheism) with their mouths, but Allah will not allow except that His Light should be perfected even though the Kafirun (disbelievers) hate (it).
English - Sahih International
They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.
Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(9:32) These people desire to extinguish the light of Allah with puffs from their mouths and Allah refuses (His consent to their desirebut wills to perfect His light, even though the disbelievers be much averse to it.
