Translation of the verse 34 from Surah Ash-Shura : Number of verses 53 - - page 487 - Part 25.

﴾أَوۡ يُوبِقۡهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ وَيَعۡفُ عَن كَثِيرٖ ﴿
[ الشورى: 34]

Or He may destroy them (by drowning) because of that which their (people) have earned. And He pardons much.

Or He could destroy them for what they earned; but He pardons much.
