Translation of the verse 42 from Surah Al-Qamar : Number of verses 55 - - page 530 - Part 27.

﴾كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُمۡ أَخۡذَ عَزِيزٖ مُّقۡتَدِرٍ ﴿
[ القمر: 42]

(They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent).

English - Sahih International

They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability.

(54:42) but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful.
