Translation of the verse 44 from Surah Al-Qasas : Number of verses 88 - - page 391 - Part 20.

﴾وَمَا كُنتَ بِجَانِبِ ٱلۡغَرۡبِيِّ إِذۡ قَضَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَى ٱلۡأَمۡرَ وَمَا كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ ﴿
[ القصص: 44]

And you (O Muhammad SAW) were not on the western side (of the Mount), when We made clear to Musa (Moses) the commandment, and you were not among those present.

English - Sahih International

And you, [O Muhammad], were not on the western side [of the mount] when We revealed to Moses the command, and you were not among the witnesses [to that].

(28:44) (O Muhammad,) you were not present on the western side *60 when We gave Moses the Law, nor were you among the witnesses, *61

*60) "Western side": Mount Sinai, which lies to the west of the Hijaz and on which the Prophet Moses was given the Divine Law.
