Surat Fussilat Verse No. 46: Reading and listening

Translation of the verse 46 from Surah Fussilat : Number of verses 54 - - page 481 - Part 24.

surah فصلت ayah 46 - Whoever does righteousness - it is for his [own] soul; and whoever does evil [does so] against it. And your Lord is not ever unjust to [His] servants.


﴾مَّنۡ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَنۡ أَسَآءَ فَعَلَيۡهَاۗ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِظَلَّٰمٖ لِّلۡعَبِيدِ ﴿
[ فصلت: 46]

Whosoever does righteous good deed it is for (the benefit of) his ownself, and whosoever does evil, it is against his ownself, and your Lord is not at all unjust to (His) slaves.


English - Sahih International

Whoever does righteousness - it is for his [own] soul; and whoever does evil [does so] against it. And your Lord is not ever unjust to [His] servants.

Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(41:46) Whoever does good, does so to his own benefit; and whoever does evil, will suffer its evil consequence. Your Lord does no wrong to His servants. *59

*59) That is, "Your Lord can never be so unjust as to Iet go to waste the good deeds of a good man and fail to punish the evil-doers for their evil."
