Surat Ghafir Verse No. 49: Reading and listening
Translation of the verse 49 from Surah Ghafir : Number of verses 85 - - page 472 - Part 24.
﴾وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي ٱلنَّارِ لِخَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ٱدۡعُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ يُخَفِّفۡ عَنَّا يَوۡمٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ﴿
[ غافر: 49]
And those in the Fire will say to the keepers (angels) of Hell: "Call upon your Lord to lighten for us the torment for a day!"
English - Sahih International
And those in the Fire will say to the keepers of Hell, "Supplicate your Lord to lighten for us a day from the punishment."

(40:49) Those suffering in the Fire will say to the keepers of Hell: 'Call upon your Lord to lighten the chastisement for us just for a day.'
