Surat Fussilat Verse No. 51: Reading and listening
Translation of the verse 51 from Surah Fussilat : Number of verses 54 - - page 482 - Part 25.
﴾وَإِذَآ أَنۡعَمۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡإِنسَٰنِ أَعۡرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَآءٍ عَرِيضٖ ﴿
[ فصلت: 51]
And when We show favour to man, he withdraws and turns away, but when evil touches him, then he has recourse to long supplications.

And when We bestow favor upon man, he turns away and distances himself; but when evil touches him, then he is full of extensive supplication.

(41:51) When We bestow Our favour upon man, he turns away and waxes proud; *67 but when a misfortune touches him, he is full of supplication. *68
