Translation of the verse 56 from Surah Az-Zukhruf : Number of verses 89 - - page 493 - Part 25.

﴾فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ سَلَفٗا وَمَثَلٗا لِّلۡأٓخِرِينَ ﴿
[ الزخرف: 56]

And We made them a precedent (as a lesson for those coming after them), and an example to later generations.

And We made them a precedent and an example for the later peoples.
