Translation of the verse 59 from Surah Hud : Number of verses 123 - - page 228 - Part 12.

surah هود ayah 59 - And that was 'Aad, who rejected the signs of their Lord and disobeyed His messengers and followed the order of every obstinate tyrant.


﴾وَتِلۡكَ عَادٞۖ جَحَدُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَعَصَوۡاْ رُسُلَهُۥ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٖ ﴿
[ هود: 59]

Such were 'Ad (people). They rejected the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord and disobeyed His Messengers, and followed the command of every proud obstinate (oppressor of the truth, from their leaders).

And that was 'Aad, who rejected the signs of their Lord and disobeyed His messengers and followed the order of every obstinate tyrant.

(11:59) Such were 'Ad. They repudiated the signs of their Lord, disobeyed His Messengers, *65 and followed the bidding of every tyrannical enemy of the truth.

However, his teachings were the same as those of all the other Messengers who had been raised among different nations and at different times.
