Surat Al-An‘am Verse No. 79: Reading and listening
Translation of the verse 79 from Surah Al-An‘am : Number of verses 165 - - page 137 - Part 7.
﴾إِنِّي وَجَّهۡتُ وَجۡهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ حَنِيفٗاۖ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ ﴿
[ الأنعام: 79]
Verily, I have turned my face towards Him Who has created the heavens and the earth Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism, i.e. worshipping none but Allah Alone) and I am not of Al-Mushrikun (see V. 2:105)".
English - Sahih International
Indeed, I have turned my face toward He who created the heavens and the earth, inclining toward truth, and I am not of those who associate others with Allah."
Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(6:79) Behold, 1 have turned my face in exclusive devotion to the One Who originated the heavens and the earth, and 1 am certainly not one of those who associate others with Allah in His divinity.'
