Surat Al-Kahf Verse No. 1: Reading and listening

Translation of the verse 1 from Surah Al-Kahf : Number of verses 110 - - page 293 - Part 15.

surah الكهف ayah 1 - [All] praise is [due] to Allah, who has sent down upon His Servant the Book and has not made therein any deviance.


﴾ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنزَلَ عَلَىٰ عَبۡدِهِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَلَمۡ يَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ عِوَجَاۜ ﴿
[ الكهف: 1]

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has sent down to His slave (Muhammad SAW) the Book (the Quran), and has not placed therein any crookedness.

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, who has sent down upon His Servant the Book and has not made therein any deviance.

Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(18:1) All praise is for Allah, Who has sent down this Book to His Servant, and assigned nothing crooked to it. *1

*1) That is, "There is nothing intricate or complicated in it that may be beyond anyone's understanding nor is there anything that deviates from the straight path of the Truth and thus cause hesitation in the mind of a truth-loving person."
