Surat Al-Qalam Verse No. 1: Reading and listening
Translation of the verse 1 from Surah Al-Qalam : Number of verses 52 - - page 564 - Part 29.
﴾نٓۚ وَٱلۡقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسۡطُرُونَ ﴿
[ القلم: 1]
Nun. [These letters (Nun, etc.) are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. By the pen and what the (angels) write (in the Records of men).

*1) The great commentator Mujahid says that by pen here is meant the Pen with which the Qur'an was being written down. From this it automatically follows that that which was being written implies the Holy Qur'an itself.
