Surat As-saff Verse No. 11: Reading and listening

Translation of the verse 11 from Surah As-saff : Number of verses 14 - - page 552 - Part 28.

﴾تُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتُجَٰهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِأَمۡوَٰلِكُمۡ وَأَنفُسِكُمۡۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ﴿
[ الصف: 11]

That you believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know!

English - Sahih International

[It is that] you believe in Allah and His Messenger and strive in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is best for you, if you should know.

Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(61:11) It is that you should believe in Allah and His Messenger, *15 and should exert your utmost in Allah's Way with your wealth and your selves. This would be best for you if you only knew. *16

*15) When the believers are asked to believe, it automatically gives the meaning that they should become sincere Muslims: they should not rest content with oral profession of the Faith but should be ready and willing to make every sacrifice in the cause of their Faith.
*16) That is, this bargain is far superior for them to every worldly bargain.
