Surat Az-Zumar Verse No. 16: Reading and listening
Translation of the verse 16 from Surah Az-Zumar : Number of verses 75 - - page 460 - Part 23.
﴾لَهُم مِّن فَوۡقِهِمۡ ظُلَلٞ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ وَمِن تَحۡتِهِمۡ ظُلَلٞۚ ذَٰلِكَ يُخَوِّفُ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦ عِبَادَهُۥۚ يَٰعِبَادِ فَٱتَّقُونِ ﴿
[ الزمر: 16]
They shall have coverings of Fire, above them and covering (of Fire) beneath them; with this Allah does frighten His slaves: "O My slaves, therefore fear Me!"
English - Sahih International
They will have canopies of fire above them and below them, canopies. By that Allah threatens His servants. O My servants, then fear Me.
Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(39:16) There shall be sheets of fire above them and beneath them. This is the end against which Allah warns His servants. So dread My wrath, O you servants of Mine!'
