Translation of the verse 200 from Surah al-‘Imran : Number of verses 200 - - page 76 - Part 4.

surah آل عمران ayah 200 - O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allah that you may be successful.


﴾يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱصۡبِرُواْ وَصَابِرُواْ وَرَابِطُواْ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ ﴿
[ آل عمران: 200]

O you who believe! Endure and be more patient (than your enemy), and guard your territory by stationing army units permanently at the places from where the enemy can attack you, and fear Allah, so that you may be successful.

O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allah that you may be successful.

(3:200) Believers, be steadfast, and vie in steadfastness, *141 stand firm in your faith, and hold Allah in fear that you may attain true success.

*141). The original Arabic word is " sabiru". This has two possible meanings. One is that whenever they are in confrontation with unbelievers, the believers should endure even greater hardships for their cause, and display a higher degree of fortitude than the unbelievers. The other is that the believers should try to excel one another in facing the opposition and hostility of unbelievers with courage and fortitude.
