Surat Al-Ahqaf Verse No. 22: Reading and listening
Translation of the verse 22 from Surah Al-Ahqaf : Number of verses 35 - - page 505 - Part 26.
﴾قَالُوٓاْ أَجِئۡتَنَا لِتَأۡفِكَنَا عَنۡ ءَالِهَتِنَا فَأۡتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ ﴿
[ الأحقاف: 22]
They said: "Have you come to turn us away from our aliha (gods)? Then bring us that with which you threaten us, if you are one of the truthful!"
English - Sahih International
They said, "Have you come to delude us away from our gods? Then bring us what you promise us, if you should be of the truthful."
Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(46:22) They said: 'Have you come to us to turn us away from our gods? Then, bring upon us the scourge that you threaten us with. Do so if you are truthful.'
