Surat Maryam Verse No. 4: Reading and listening
Translation of the verse 4 from Surah Maryam : Number of verses 98 - - page 305 - Part 16.
﴾قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَهَنَ ٱلۡعَظۡمُ مِنِّي وَٱشۡتَعَلَ ٱلرَّأۡسُ شَيۡبٗا وَلَمۡ أَكُنۢ بِدُعَآئِكَ رَبِّ شَقِيّٗا ﴿
[ مريم: 4]
Saying: "My Lord! Indeed my bones have grown feeble, and grey hair has spread on my head, And I have never been unblest in my invocation to You, O my Lord!
English - Sahih International
He said, "My Lord, indeed my bones have weakened, and my head has filled with white, and never have I been in my supplication to You, my Lord, unhappy.
Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(19:4) He prayed, "O my Lord ! My very bones have become rotten, and my head is glistening with age. My Lord! I have never been disappointed in my prayer to Thee.
