Surat Al-Ma‘arij Verse No. 44: Reading and listening
Translation of the verse 44 from Surah Al-Ma‘arij : Number of verses 44 - - page 570 - Part 29.
﴾خَٰشِعَةً أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ تَرۡهَقُهُمۡ ذِلَّةٞۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمُ ٱلَّذِي كَانُواْ يُوعَدُونَ ﴿
[ المعارج: 44]
With their eyes lowered in fear and humility, ignominy covering them (all over)! That is the Day which they were promised!

Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. That is the Day which they had been promised.

(70:44) Their eyes will be downcast and disgrace will overwhelm them. Such is the Day that they were promised.
