Translation of the verse 47 from Surah An-Nahl : Number of verses 128 - - page 272 - Part 14.

﴾أَوۡ يَأۡخُذَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ تَخَوُّفٖ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمۡ لَرَءُوفٞ رَّحِيمٌ ﴿
[ النحل: 47]

Or that He may catch them with gradual wasting (of their wealth and health). Truly! Your Lord is indeed full of Kindness, Most Merciful?

English - Sahih International

Or that He would not seize them gradually [in a state of dread]? But indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful.

(16:47) or that He will seize them when they themselves are on the alert about the impending danger? These people have no power to frustrate His plans. The fact is that your Lord is very Lenient and Compassionate.
