Translation of the verse 58 from Surah An-Nahl : Number of verses 128 - - page 273 - Part 14.

﴾وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِٱلۡأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجۡهُهُۥ مُسۡوَدّٗا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٞ ﴿
[ النحل: 58]

And when the news of (the birth of) a female (child) is brought to any of them, his face becomes dark, and he is filled with inward grief!

English - Sahih International

And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.
