Translation of the verse 99 from Surah Al-A‘raf : Number of verses 206 - - page 163 - Part 9.

﴾أَفَأَمِنُواْ مَكۡرَ ٱللَّهِۚ فَلَا يَأۡمَنُ مَكۡرَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلۡقَوۡمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ ﴿
[ الأعراف: 99]

Did they then feel secure against the Plan of Allah. None feels secure from the Plan of Allah except the people who are the losers.

Then did they feel secure from the plan of Allah? But no one feels secure from the plan of Allah except the losing people.

*78). The expression makr signifies a secret strategy of which the victim has no inkling until the decisive blow is struck. Until then, the victim is under the illusion that everything is in good order.
