Translation of the verse 19 from Surah Al-InfiTar : Number of verses 19 - - page 587 - Part 30.

﴾يَوۡمَ لَا تَمۡلِكُ نَفۡسٞ لِّنَفۡسٖ شَيۡـٔٗاۖ وَٱلۡأَمۡرُ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلَّهِ ﴿
[ الإنفطار: 19]

(It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah.

English - Sahih International

It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah.

Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(82:19) It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, *8 and all command shall be Allah's.

*8) That is, no one there will have the power to save anyone from suffering the consequences of his deeds; no one there will be so influential, strong, or such a favourite with AIIah that he should behave stubbornly in the Divine Court and say: "Such and such a one is a close relative or associate of mine; he will have to be forgiven, no matter what evils He might have committed in the world."
