Surat Muhammad Verse No. 26: Reading and listening
Translation of the verse 26 from Surah Muhammad : Number of verses 38 - - page 509 - Part 26.
﴾ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَالُواْ لِلَّذِينَ كَرِهُواْ مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ سَنُطِيعُكُمۡ فِي بَعۡضِ ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ إِسۡرَارَهُمۡ ﴿
[ محمد: 26]
This is because they said to those who hate what Allah has sent down: "We will obey you in part of the matter," but Allah knows their secrets.
English - Sahih International
That is because they said to those who disliked what Allah sent down, "We will obey you in part of the matter." And Allah knows what they conceal.
Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(47:26) This, because they said to those who are averse to the faith that Allah has revealed: 'In some matters we shall obey you.' *36 Allah has full knowledge of their secret parleys.

*36) That is, "In spite of professing the Faith and being counted among the Muslims, they went on conspiring secretly with the enemies of Islam and even pledged to support them in certain matters. "
